Capital City Group is the leading provider of crane
rental, construction hoist rental, field services, and heavy hauling in the Midwest.
Our rental division owns and operates over 50 cranes. Ranging in size
from a 2.2-ton self-erecting tower crane up to a 365-ton all-terrain crane and
500-ton crawler crane. Our rental hoists are temporary construction
elevators primarily used by Contractors and Power Plants. Our field service division is one of the premier precast erection companies. From: Architectural
Precast, Hollowcore, Structural Precast Systems, and Wall Panels. We proudly
serve: Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania,
Tennessee, and West Virginia.
Capital City Crane Rental originated in 1993, and in the last few years we have
become one of the premiere crane rental houses serving the Midwest. In 1969 Chet
Gibson began working as a dispatcher with the George Igel Company, twenty-five
years later he started Capital City Crane Rental. Capital Field Services was
formed in 2000 after noticing a need for quality precast erection
services in the Ohio region, and has become one of the fastest growing erection
companies in the Midwest. Our philosophy is one of the easiest ways to take care
of customers is to surround yourself with good employees. At Capital City Group
we have done that. We feel that anyone can supply you a piece of equipment and
labor, but what stands us apart from other crane rental/field service companies
